SSS Phone No. or SSS Hotline is Now a 24-Hour Call Center Service

Updated February 27, 2013:

Now you can call SSS in the early evening, late evening, late night, midnight, or at dawn! The new SSS hotline is now a 24-hour call center service, from Monday to Friday.

The 24-hour SSS phone numbers are:

920-6446 to 55

Available from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 7 pm the next day

I called SSS one night, when the previous 16-hour service was launched, and somebody picked my call immediately. The SSS customer service officer was obviously already tired, and was grumpy, but later on, she tried her best to sound pleasant.

To maximize the time with the SSS officer, be ready with your SSS number. The officer wants to be accurate with her answer, so she wants to access your SSS records before she gives a response.

Be ready also with your question. Your question should be clear. What do you really want to know? Before you call, write data, numbers or information so you can give correct data immediately.

You can also use other SSS communication systems for members' inquiries:

Note: The SSS hotline is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

I don't think they really want to service. I was calling a few minutes ago. I dialed for more than 5 times. After many rings, they just disconnect the call. What lame service!

Kaydee said...

Hi everyone, thanks for commenting. Try calling late at night, when there are not so many people calling...

Hi Christy, yes, you can continue as Voluntary. Since you were an Employed member before, it's easy to continue as Voluntary -- just pay your premiums using RS5 form at Bayad Center, SM Business Center or SSS cashier. Check Voluntary in the form. Then enroll in online SSS so you can check your payments and other SSS records.

Hi denverzalds, go back to your branch and inquire again. Or call the SSS nos. listed above preferably late at night.

Good evening!
I just checked on the SSS website and saw the loan application status saying: CHECK GENERATED and it also included a check number and date. Does it mean my application was approved and when can i get check? Hope you could provide me info. on this matter. Thanks!:)

Kaydee said...

Hi Waldo, yes, if you're employed, your HR will give your loan check to you in about a week. If you're voluntary, OFW or self-employed, you will receive your check via registered mail, delivered to your home by your postman in 2 to 3 weeks.

Kaydee said...

Hi khulet, have you registered online? Check if your check is already generated. From date of check generation, you wait for 1 month or more. Your postman will deliver your registered mail with check inside to your home address

Hi rain john, please email SSS and write about your bad experience. Put in your Subject: 24-Hour Hotline Always Busy. I understand very well your frustration, so please do something about it. You think it might not matter, but the more emails writing about this 24-hour hotline to SSS, SSS might take notice. If PLDT, a big company that earns billions, also makes its customers wait for hours after hours, how much more for SSS, which is nonprofit. I'm not defending SSS, but let's give them some leeway and time to improve their service. So let's email SSS about its hotline.best regards

Kaydee said...

Hi Glovie, yes, you're eligible, even if you did not pay Feb and Mar, as long as you have paid your contributions for 6 of the past 12 months. I suggest you enroll in My.SSS so you can file your loan online. You can also check your loan eligibility online.

Hi KayDee,Yesterday I should supposedly create an online account in sss.gov.ph but i learned that my ss number already exist in thier data (means there is an account which was created using my ss number) BUT i don't have any knowledge that i made an online before in SSS, the ff are my questions :
1.Can they (SSS) tracked down, what IP was used creating my account in SSS
2. How can I be secure that I'm the one who only use my SS number? Is it possible that I can create my REAL account using my SS number >

P.S : I've come to idea that someone create an account using my SS number because when i tried to click the forgot password using my personal email the system prompt " Email does not exist

I tired to call sa lines nila po late mid night and early morning as 4 am
but lines were really busy.. kung pupunta na ko sa branch kung san ako kumuha ng sss masosolve po kaya ito or matutulungan ako??

Hello Kaydee,

just would like to know to whom can i make a follow-up with my status updates with my loan. it's almost a month and my loan doesn't get any updates.

Kaydee said...

Hi bryan, call the SSS hotline above. Is this about loan payments? yes, sometimes the posting and updating takes a long time specially if you're paying through banks. Keep your receipts.

Kaydee said...

Hi Roan, yes, you go to the nearest SSS with your valid IDs, and tell them somebody registered online using your SSS number, so they can check this online account. If you have proof of address like meralco, so you can also show your address, and your birth certificate, it would be good, in case they ask. I hope you resolve it asap. That's disturbing to me. Are you employed? Because others can know your employer no. , which is one of the data needed when registering online.

Jelo Paglingayen said...

How many percent ang company contribution sa SSS ng isang empleyado???

bryan pantas said...

Hello Kaydee,

hotline are all busy(morning/afternoon). In updating status such as this, does SSS have any Standard procedure? And just would like you to know i pay directly to the SSS.

Appreciate your assistance, thanks.

rechell said...

Hi SSS Admin,

Just want to follow up the reposting of my actual premium contributions,my previous employer have changed their status from voluntary to employed kaya daw nawala yung mga previous contributions namin.I have signed already the waiver form for the reposting request but until now it's not yet posted as I've checked online.Ano po ba SLA nyo for reposting?I'm having difficulty in calling the hotline coz it's always busy tone. Please help me with my concern. Thanks:)

Kaydee said...

Hi rechell, what waiver did you sign? What was the purpose of the waiver? When did your previous employer remit your contributions? Where did they remit? Bank or SSS cashier? How many monthly contributions are you following up? If 2 months have passed and your contributions are not yet posted, ask your previous employer a copy of the machine-stamped RS5 form and collection list, so that you can follow it up with SSS.

Kaydee said...

Hi Jelo, an employee pays SSS 3.33% of the salary credit, with 15k pesos as the maximum salary credit.

Kaydee said...

Hi bryan, since you paid at SSS and you have the receipt, and you're sure you wrote your SSS no. and name correctly, I think you don't have to worry so much...
unless you need the loan to be updated for renewal.
We are paying at Bayad Center and our loan payments get posted after 3 or 4 days only. But there was one time when our payment was posted after 1month and 12 days.

Kaydee said...

Hi everyone who cannot contact SSS through the hotline, please comment also on the Facebook account of SSS, so SSS will know that their present call center capacity is not enough. Login at Facebook, and then search SSS; click the official account of SSS

Hi. Ask ko lang po if pede kaya ako makapag-loan sa SSS kung unemployed na ako as of now? Resigned na ako, last day of work ko is February 16, 2013. May contributions ako for 37 months. Kung sakali kaya, pede ko ituloy ang contribution as voluntary? Magakano po kaya pag voluntary na? At ilan percentage po ba ng total contibutions ang pede ma-loan? Thanks in advance sa help.

Kaydee said...

Hi Jayson, sorry, but you need to wait for SSS to post your recent loan payments. If your employer is remitting through a bank that does not have an e-payment link with SSS, remittance to SSS takes time, so posting takes time.
But if you've been paying for 2 years already, your balance should be smaller. Are you enrolled in My.SSS? So you can see your payments and check if there are gaps in the remittances... This is how to enroll online.
http://sssphilippinesnotes.blogspot.com/2013/02/how-to-enroll-in-online-sss.html

Kaydee said...

Hi jho, are you enrolled in online SSS? You can check there the status of your maternity benefit. If it says Check Generated or Settled, then your check is already in the postal system. You can visit your local post office (registered mail section) and ask about your registered mail from SSS.

Kaydee said...

Hi Marvin, yes, you can apply for a loan even if you're unemployed. You have paid contributions for at least 6 of the past 12 months, so you're qualified. The amount of your loan = your average salary credit for the past 12 months.

Kaydee said...

Marvin, enroll in My.SSS, so you can check your records. You can also apply for a loan online.

When I called the SSS hotline number I spoke to 2 reps, they told me almost the same info but one thing confuses

the 1st rep told me that our authorized Rep needs to bring 2valid ids of our authorized signatory which is the President our company

the 2nd rep told me that our authorized Rep needs to bring the valid id of the employee whose claiming the reimbursement.

Which is Which? And also is there a specific day and time when can we claim the check at the main office?

Thanks in advance =)

Hi! Just wanna enquire on how to change my coverage status from self employed to covered employee? When i checked my acc i already have 37 mos contribution but its still not allowing me to apply for salary loan for d reason dat i dont have date of coverage..hoping for you response..thanks!

Kaydee said...

Hi Razz, based on comments on online forums and my friend's experience, your check will be delivered to your address within 2 weeks from date of check generation. If you're employed, the check will be delivered to your office.

Kaydee said...

Hi charvie, sorry I cannot answer you accurately, because I don't know how they decide which type of check to mail and which type of check to file for claiming by the company's rep. I've read some comments online by employed members that their checks were sent thru the mail. About the 2 valid IDs, the authorized rep's IDs should be enough -- that's why he was authorized previously -- but to save time and effort, your rep should bring the member's IDs in case SSS requires them.
I think there's no specific time for check pick-up unless the date and time was written in the acknowledgment stub.

Kaydee said...

Kaydee said...

Hi Michael, have you requested SSS to forward your ID to SSS Davao? Email SSS again. Or do you have someone in Oriental Mindoro whom you can request to ask the SSS branch there if your ID is there already? It might be faster if you can authorize someone to pick it up for you, with your other valid IDs. But I'm not sure yet if SSS allows that. You can also post at the Facebook page of SSS.
I hope it will not take a long long time for SSS to match your request of forwarding your ID and your new SSS branch to actually finding where your SSS ID is, among thousands of IDs being sorted, sent out, returned and resent.

Kaydee said...

Hi Sheila, are you employed now? Has your employer registered you with SSS? And has your employer paid your first contributions? If yes, then the date you were registered by your employer will be your date of coverage. Your member type will be "Employed".
About your contributions as self-employed, did you pay SSS contributions without first going to SSS and submitting an RS1 form for approval? If you have a SSS-approved and stamped RS1 form, go to SSS and ask them to put your Date of Coverage. If you did not submit an RS1 form before, it's sad to say but your previous contributions are "on hold". Your contributions will not be lost; they are still yours. But they will be posted properly only if you become employed and registered properly, and then later on you become voluntary. Your previous payments as "unregistered" self-employed will be posted during your voluntary membership.
If you're not employed now, but you have proof of source of income and IDs, you can register properly as self-employed using RS1 form. After approval of your RS1 form, request SSS to credit your previous payments to dates they deem correct.

Kaydee said...

Hi enrico, please post your request at the Facebook page of SSS. SSS might be taking a longer time because of backlogs and lots of claims.

Hi Kaydee,

I just had an accident with in the company premises on working hours last april 26, 2013. Na-employ ako sa company ng march 2013. Ang tanong ko lang kung meron ba akong makukuha sa SSS kahit wala akong hulog nung last semester before the semester ng accident. May nabasa ako dun sa sss.gov.ph ung EC or Employment Compensation program. Maa-avail ko ba tong EC na to kahit wala akong hulog sa SSS before the semester na nangyari ung accident ko, o wala na talaga akong makukuha ni singko.. salamat sa reply.

Kaydee said...

Hi Mcking, is this your first job? Were you deducted your SSS contribution for March 2013? Was it remitted to SSS? Sorry I'm not very familiar with EC, but reading the SSS EC law, I think you are covered by EC even if you had no contributions within the 12-month period before the semester of accident, as long as you have at least one monthly contribution from which they can compute your benefit (if you were temporarily was not able to work). But the problem is about your first contribution if it was paid to SSS, or if it was not yet paid because of payment scheduling issues. Your HR can best answer your question. They should know about EC. You can ask others too, as this is my first time reading the EC law.

Hi I just want to ask solution to problem we encountered using the SSS-LMS or Loan Repayment Diskette System. At first we are able to encode data on the program but when about to select the option "Generation of LMS Diskette" an error appear "Error 70 in Copying file" and a prompt OK, so I enter and back to the selection again of Generation of LMS Diskette and the error appears again and again. So I go Back to Main and choose the option Report Generation and click the option Transmittal list, another error prompted "Application-defined or object-defined error", when I click the option Employee File "Error printing employee details" appear. I try to resolved this problem by going to SSS Parañaque branch but they just dont know also how to, they give the number of SSS head office 9206401 and I was told to call the numbers 9206446-55 instead. I have tried so many times calling all the given numbers even at night but to no luck still busy tone was an answer. That's why I'm posting here hoping you can help me with this matter, thank you.

Hi since i can't reach any of your hotlines, I hope you could reply to my query.

What does ' Date of Last Payment' mean? This is reflected in my father's dead pension claim? FYI, I didn't sign up for lump sum.

Joel Balquin said...

I paid a partial of my salary loan last April 18 but up to this very moment, my payment is still not posted and the penalty is increasing everyday. What happened to the 24-HOUR hotline number if all numbers you dialed are busy?! Even the member's assistance email address are not responding. I think SSS should do something about this. We are the one paying for their salary and they should give their full service to us.

mheann said...

tried to call ung hotline daw nyu, ndi nmn macontact prang pang press release lng, inquire lng nmn aq ng status ng lump sum ng mother q...wla nmn makausap s hotline .pwee

Kaydee said...

For those calling SSS, try calling during non-peak hours -- after midnight or early morning. Write your complaints on the Facebook page of SSS.

Kaydee said...

Hi Joel, your penalties will be computed based on date of actual payment. Your online account shows additional or increasing penalties because the system does not yet know that you have paid already. Look at the date of "Last Payment Considered". Check also your Loan Eligibility -- it shows a different amount.

Kaydee said...

Hi carla, pension or lump sum is not a choice of the beneficiary. It is SSS that decides. If the member paid less than 36 contributions before the semester of death, the death benefit is lump sum and not pension.

Kaydee said...

Hi Roldan, sorry hindi na kasi merong payment deadlines. Employers lang ang puedeng ma-late mag-remit, pero they pay penalties. OFWs, voluntary and self-employed members cannot pay late. SSS payment deadlines

Kaydee said...

Hi, the last loan penalty condonation program was Sep 2012. SSS has not announced if it is implementing another condonation program this year.

Hi Jessielyn, please write your complaint at the Facebook page of SSS

Hi Kaydee,

I filed educational loan last Wednesday and I was told that it would be encoded the next day. SSS staff told me I would receive a text if there were any problem with the loan I filed. If I will not receive any then I have to wait for the check generated. Until now, I have not received any txt messages yet. I checked online and clicked educational loan it gives a prompt stating "No Educational Loan Filed."

Can you help me with this without me calling or going back to the branch? I filed the loan Legarda Branch since it is the nearest branch from UE.

Hi Roy, since you can't see it yet online, it's not yet encoded. When this educational loan program was newer, encoding was quick, but now there are lots of applications and the queu is long, so you might have to wait. Check from time to time.

Kaydee said...

Hi Joan, did you file a MAT1 notification before you gave birth? It's one of the requirements to get your maternity benefit. Documents required: your child's NSO birth certificate, SSS-stamped MAT1 form, MAT 2 form, SSS ID, operating room record (if CS), certification of separation from employment with statement that your benefit was not advanced to you (if date of separation and date of delivery is within 6 months)

Hi Jhojho, it now takes about a month or more. Click this to see information on SSS Educational Loan

Hi Roldan, yes, eligible siya. Magpa-stamp na siya ng MAT1 niya asap (must be before delivery), and she should continue to pay for May and June. She should apply for her SSS ID, if she doesn't have this yet, and enroll in online SSS so she can monitor her SSS account. My.SSS, online SSS

Hi Beverly, try mo ngang mag-inquire sa Facebook page ng SSS, or mag-inquire ka na lang sa nearest SSS with your father's ID and authorization letter and your ID.

Hi Genny, merong info dito: SSS educational loan

Kaydee said...

Hi isyumaestra, I think okay lang, basta gawin mo yong sinabi mong payment dates...at saka patapos na naman na yong loan mo. Hindi ko kasi alam yong rules ng program that you availed of. But with the 2012 condonation program, SSS warns not to be deliquent for 2 months, or else they will cancel the condonation privilege. In your case, you will not be delinquent, you will just be late. And I think they were more flexible before in their past programs, and they became stricter with the 2012 program.
I'm not sure but there could be some penalties (a few pesos maybe) for late payment.

Kaydee said...

Hi Arnel, I think 3 weeks is too long for it to be not yet encoded online. Unless Binondo has lots of backlog and current work load. Sana kung nag-apply ka na lang ng loan online -- pero dapat nakaregister online din ang employer mo, kasi SSS will ask your employer to verify your employment online. If you have time, you can go back to Binondo and ask why your online account says "no loan application filed" after 3 weeks.

Hi Kaydee,

Thanks for the response. Your website shows check number for educational loan posted on the 5th of this month. I just want to know if SSS would send it directly to the University where the beneficiary is enrolled or we have to pick it up.

Thanks

Hi I cannot access online because my old email add is already deactivated by my previous employer. I already sent this issue through email but theres no response. I really need to monitor my loan payments and contribution by our company. Can you help me pls! Thanks!

Kaydee said...

Hi galoy, do you mean you also forgot your My.SSS username or password or both? If yes, then be patient in calling SSS. Try also the Facebook page of SSS. Email again SSS and write this on Subject: Please Reset Online Registration -- Cannot Access Email Address

Kaydee said...

Hi Remalyn, it can take longer in the province. Registered mail even takes longer because the mail has to be recorded at every transfer or movement. You can follow-up with your postman at the Registered Section of your post office.

Hi Kaydee,

As per SSS website, educational cheque was released 06/05/2013. Until now I haven't received it yet. Will it be sent to my home address? Is there in a way to pick it up? How can I track it? Classes already started and my beneficiary is not yet officially enrolled. We were give until the 27th to submit the cheque to University of the East. Please advise.

Malou Santos said...

I had Hysterectomy last June 4, 2013. My doctor advised me to file for Disability like what her other patients did. I submitted my documents to my current employer for procssing. My questions are:
1. How long ang processing ng Disability claim?
2. Can i avail of the Disablity Claim simultaneously with the Special Leave availment under Magna Carta?
3. I simulated an DDCF claim in the SSS website. Is this the same sa Disability?
4. Sa simulation, nakalagay na computation is 6,500+ - is this the actual amount or is this a monthly thing? Those I talked to who have availed of the Disablity claim received more than 65k lump sum.

Appreciate your kind reply.

Kaydee said...

Hi Malou, sorry I'm not sure now how long they can process disability claims. What I know is that the process includes your physical exam by an SSS medical doctor.
About benefit amount, it would depend on how long you've been contributing and your average monthly salary credit.
You'll get a monthly pension if you've contributed at least 36 contributions, and lump sum if less than 36.
I know someone who had total hysterectomy and she got 30 monthly pensions of 3k plus every month.
It's given in lump sum if the no. of months for rest, as determined by the doctor, is less than 12 months.

Kaydee said...

Hi Roy, the check will be sent to your home address via registered mail, and hopefully you'll get it about 14 days after check generation. It's my observation that the check spends time in the SSS-to-post office-delivery and within the local postal system.

Kaydee said...

I hope, if you have time, you can share with us when you got the check, so we can see if the average time of delivery until now is 14 days. My friend got her check on the 13th day after check generation.

Kaydee said...

Hi Abbie, diyan sa "Enter total amount collected per collection list", isulat mo yong amount ng monthly amortization mo (nasa check loan voucher mo). You can also check your online SSS account. Then Isulat mo the same amount sa Total Amount Remitted. Doon din sa baba, sa Cash. Then write your name and sign sa Certified Correct sa baba.
You write also: Salary Loan sa Payment Type and month and year sa Applicable month, YOUR Employee SS Number, YOUR name and address sa Employer's Registered and & Address. Huwag sulatan ang Employer's ID Number.

Hi Carlos,
1) You can go to SSS East Avenue, or other SSS branches in Quezon City.
2) You need only your original birth certificate. But bring your passport, for ID purposes.
3) Getting your SSS no. is FREE

Kaydee said...

Hi Lyra, did you pay for July Aug Sep Oct 2012? Yes, you're eligible; merong kang 3 months for eligibility. You have 4 months for benefit computation. If you can still pay for Apr to June or May and June, you pay so you will have 6 months for benefit computation. SSS payment deadlines

George Gonzales said...

Can I pay off my remaining SSS loan balance and apply for a new loan? I would appreciate your response. Thank you.

Kaydee said...

Hi sayDieluna, yes, you can avail even if she's on her 3rd year already. My friend started availing for her daughter last year when she was in 3rd year (4-year course).

Kaydee said...

Hi faith, yes, tama ang mga neighbors mo, dapat natanggap mo na. Anyway, you should receive your check today or tomorrow or if the postal system is really slow this time, then any day this week. Are you voluntary or self-employed? Because if you're employed, the check will be delivered to your company's address.

Kaydee said...

Hi anna cariza, since member naman na ang papa mo dati, you can pay one contribution at Bayad Center. Merong RS5 form doon. Check Voluntary. On the 3rd or 4th day na malamang na-post na ang payment mo, i-enroll mo na sa My.SSS. Check if he has a Date of Coverage. He can continue paying using RS5 form.

Kaydee said...

Hi George, yes, you can pay in full your loan balance. But you can only renew if your loan is already more than 1 year old, meaning the date of your loan check is more than a year ago. In your online SSS account, you can click Salary Loan Eligibility to check.

Hi faith, thanks for coming back to share us the good news!

Hi Ma'am/Sir,

Good Day!

I would just like to inquire if I'm going to apply for educational loan this month of August, will SSS be able to process my educational loan application if only month of may or june posted for my last 3 months payment as of now? According to SSS, my latest 3 mos contribution haven't posted yet in the computer. My employer have followed up already for posting of payment for the month of may and june for my contribution. Hoping for your immediate response. Thank you - Marie grace Camacho

Hi kaydee. I hope I could get a feedback asap. Thanks!

mariegrace camacho said...

Hi Kaydee Good day!

Ask ko lang if SSS will be able to process my educational loan application, I have completed my requirements. I went to SSS and they could not process daw my application kasi yung last 3 months (may, june, july)payment ko was not posted yet.my emploter said that they have followed up the posting for the month of may and june, kakabayad lang ng employer ko last August 10 2013 for july. So main concern ko is mapaprocess ng SSS my application kahit isa sa last 3 months of payment ko ang nakapost sa computer nila? Thanks!

Kaydee said...

Hi mariegrace, yes, if you file this August, dapat merong na-post na payment for at least 1 month sa May June July.

ONLINE REGISTRATION...........!!!

Sir/Madam,

Good day!
I couldn't complete my online registration because the system is asking for an SBR number. I'm now working for a government agency and I would like to continue as a Voluntary Member.
The last time I paid my SSS contri was thru ADA when our payroll was still with PNB (probably 4 years ago). When our payroll account was transferred to Landbank, ADA was discontinued because Landbank doesnt have the ADA feature. SO what the heck is an SBR? How will I be able to succesfully register?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Ella S. Villagracia

P.S.
I already wrote an email to member_relations last AUG 4. Wala pa ring reply.

Kaydee said...

Hi Moises, yong payment mo ba before is through your past employer? Or as self-employed with SSS-approved RS1? I'm asking to make sure that you were registered and paid properly.
Yes, you can continue paying as Voluntary. Choose from the SSS contribution table. Kung malaki masyado ang gap between your contributions before and now, declare your income sa RS5 form, and keep a copy of this RS5 for future questions, just in case.

Kaydee said...

Hi kyoushiturnedfangirl, pay one contribution as Voluntary using RS5 form. After 3 to 5 days, to allow for posting, enroll online. Choose 6 digits (puedeng yong first or last 6 digits na hindi zero) from your RS5 transaction no. as your SBR no.

Hi, I would just like to inquire if where can I download a Loan Eligibility/Verification? I need it for employment and the HR said it can be downloaded online. However I don't know which among the downloadable forms are the one for loan eligibility. Thanks and hoping for your response.

Kaydee said...

Hi Ma. Bernadette, I think the HR officer meant your own SSS online account. If you're not yet enrolled in My.SSS, this is how to enroll in online SSS. After enrolling, you can click Online Inquiry then go to Loan Eligibility or Loan status and print page. The purpose of this is that your new employer wants to be sure about your loan balance -- so it will make the proper SSS deductions if you have an outstanding loan balance.

If PLDT, a big company that earns billions, also makes its customers wait for hours after hours, how much more for SSS, which is nonprofit. I'm not defending SSS, but let's give them some leeway and time to improve their service. So let's email SSS about its hotline.best regards

Gusto ko lang mg comment d2 - SSS maybe a Non-Profit but I don't think their earnings are small why, because of OUR SAVINGS & LOANS. Pinapautang nila satin ang pera natin na MAY INTEREST, or pinapautang nila ang savings natin to other people w/interest, Bago ka makautang sa knila e.g salary loan you need to have 20-30k of savings already. isipin mo yung savings mo ipapautang nila sayo tpos me 1.5 - 2k na interest? tpos service fee of 150. multiply that by how many millions of employee in PH. They are generating millions or even billions within a year or our own money, kaya I think its fair that they give us a great service that we deserve.

Kaydee said...

Hi carl, sad to say, SSS has not yet significantly improved its processing system. Has SSS called your father for physical checkup? Are you near your SSS branch there? Ask if your father needs to be physically examined to show his disability. Or enroll your father in My.SSS and then check the status of his disability claim, if there are defects in the documents filed.

Hi Joselito, go to the branch where she submitted her application and ask. Bring your ID, her Id and her authorization letter

Kaydee said...

Hi jan cris, have you contributed at least 36 contributions? If yes, you can apply for a salary loan. Register online at sss.gov.ph while you're employed so you can use your employer's SSS no. to register. Use an email address with gmail or yahoo or hotmail, not tied with employer. You can apply online for your loan. But apply after you have resigned -- if you get the check before resignation, your employer will deduct all your loan amount from your last salary and benefits.

Kaydee said...

Hi bentong, sorry I don't know how to have your UMID rushed. You can visit the branch where you applied and ask.

Kaydee said...

Hi caleb, you need to wait for your check to be delivered to your company via registered mail. I've read somewhere that checks are generated at the main SSS branch. Ask also your HR if you can do that.

Kaydee said...

Hi qly518, sa birth certificate naman ng baby mo is masusulat ang maiden name mo at name ng bf mo, so walang discrepancy sa surnames. Ang surname ng baby is the same as the surname of the father. Yong sa date of marriage of parents, magiging NA, dahil hindi kayo married. Ang usually nare-reject na benefit claim dahil sa baby's surname ay yong surname ng baby walang kapareho sa parents' surnames -- na hindi kapareho ng mother's or father's surname. Ask others too.

Hi romeo, delivery by mail lang kasi ang SSS checks, walang pickup (except pickup sa post office). Prepare an authorization letter authorizing a family member (andon dapat siya at your address when the postman comes) to receive any registered mail from the SSS. Mag-iwan ka ng valid ID. Dapat ding merong ID yong family member. Pag makuha nila, ideposit na lang nila yong check sa bank account mo, so dapat meron kang savings account o checking account (not cash card account). Ask others too, baka lang meron akong na-miss.

Can you see "For Review" or any other comment in your sickness benefit portion?

Kaydee said...

Hi Rhodalyn, based on complaints that I've read on our blogs, maaaring na-delay ang mga processing ng SSS claims dahil sa holidays. May nakalagay na bang check number at check amount sa maternity benefit sa online SSS account mo? Or "For review/evaluation" pa rin? Kung meron na, wait for its delivery via registered mail.

Kaydee said...

Hi Ardee, what you can do is ask your HR for a copy of R5 receipts where your contributions were included, plus a copy of R3 collection lists where your contributions were included. Submit these docs to the branch where your company is filing its docs and request for posting. Xerox the docs for your own copy, and have these stamped Received by SSS (proof that you have asked them to post your contributions).

good day po, i am mitch, applying for maternity benefit. actually i am still employed until Feb.24, 2014. my due date is on March 28, 2014. my employer processed my mat1 online and it was already okay. but the thing is, when my employer got the screenshot of my total contribution, they told me that I can't get it in advance bed. it's the policy of SSS. Is it true that you can only get it after giving birth.

Thank you.

Kaydee said...

Hi mitch, did you mean you'll leave the company? If yes, I think the real reason is that you'll give birth when you're already not employed with them. This should be the reason that they told you. The rule is for the employer to advance the benefit within 30 days of your maternity leave. If you're leaving/resigning, and not filing your maternity leave, they won't advance your benefit.
If you're leaving, request for cert of separation with date of sep, cert of non-advancement of maternity benefit, and 2 sheets of L501 form.

Kaydee said...

Hi Andrea Kaye, i-enroll mo ang father mo sa online SSS. Online SSS Registration. Kelangan ang SSS no. ng employer. Pang registered na, you can check your father's SSS records online. You can also go to SSS and verify your father's contributions and loan payments. Bring your ID, your father's ID (or xerox) and authorization letter.
Pag hindi nagreremit ang company, your father can go to SSS Diliman and file a complaint with these docs: pay slips with SSS payments, notarized letter of complaint or Sinumpaang Salaysay, cert of employment if available. Your father also can authorize you to complain. Bring your and your father's valid IDs, including your father's SSS ID, and authorization letter.

Kaydee said...

Hi Pops, your father can visit the nearest SSS branch, kahit sa province, with his ID and verify his SSS no. and contributions. Your father can also authorize you to verify. Bring your ID, his ID and authorization letter.

Hi Mitch, kung ganon na your status with SSS is Employed so you should file MAT1 and MAT2 as Employed. Pero as you said, puedeng ikaw ang mag-file ng MAT2. The check will be delivered by registered mail to your employer, so kunin mo na lang yong check mo from your employer, kasi hindi naman sila nag-advance ng benefit sa iyo.

Hi poison88, pakisulat ang complaints mo sa Facebook page ng SSS para mabasa ng mas marami.

Hi Katrina, email SSS and request them to reset or cancel your online registration because you have forgotten your username and password and your old email address has expired. Tell them you would like to register again using a new user name, new password and new email address.

Kaydee said...

Hi in&out designs, print your MAT1 online approval and use this as your MAT1 approval. Attach it to your MAT1 form.

I applied Salary Loan Online, Last January 27, and i verified it on my account; the check was generated on that day also, it has also check number, but until now it was not delivered in our main office in makati. My question is when will you be able to deliver my salary Loan check? 1 month, 2 months or 3 months?????? Marzelino Yee Inoferio SSS # 34-1436528-6

Kaydee said...

Hi planet, go to the nearest SSS with your ID and verify your SSS no. So sad na hindi efficient ang SSS call center; baka konti lang sila.

Kaydee said...

Hi Gualberto, based sa mga comments online, maybe in 2 to 3 weeks ma-deliver ang check mo sa Makati office nio.

Kaydee said...

Hi Savannah, write a letter addressed to SSS explaining na you were not able to file your MAT1 before delivery because when you were about to file MAT1, you delivered prematurely. Attach this letter to your MAT1 form. And then pray that SSS will accept your explanation and approve your claim. Since you gave birth just after you left your job, include employer's cert of separation with date of sep, cert of non-advancement of maternity benefit, and 2 sheets of L501 form.

Hi madam! i just want to ask what is the salary loan authorization letter that my employer is asking me to submit to them regarding my salary loan balance from my previous company? do SSS have a specific form that i need to get from one of your branches? i already paid half of my salary loan. but the company im working closed so my payments was delayed for 2years. i got part time jobs but they dont pay any contribution on my SSS they just deduct 10% on my salary and thats it.so the penalty and interest piled up and its very hard for me to pay the remaining balance. now im gonna be working again and my new employer is asking me authorization letter. thanks!
